All jewelry purchased from Washington Diamond is eligible for our cleaning, polishing, and inspection service.
This service can be performed while you wait and usually takes less than 30 minutes.
PLEASE call ahead to schedule a maintenance appointment. Our jewelers have slightly different operating hours. We will put you on our visitors list for the day of your choosing at a time when our jewelers are available to service your jewelry.
Q. How Often Should I Do This?
We generally recommend you come in 1 or 2 times a year for this service to ensure your jewelry stays in good condition.
First, your jewelry will be inspected to look for signs of wear and tear or damage. This can help prevent the loss of diamonds or gemstones that may have been knocked loose in their setting, or have prongs that have been worn thin.
Second, we polish your jewelry to restore its high polished finish so that it gleams like the first day you wore it.
Finally, your jewelry is given a professional cleaning comprised of a vibrational ultrasonic soak and a pressure steam cleaning. It is as close as your jewelry will get to a day at the spa.
Restored and rejuvinated, your jewelry will look its best...just as we like it.
