Choosing the Right Diamond
Diamond shopping can be a challenging process, especially if you're not sure what you're going to get. When you shop at Washington Diamond, our friendly diamond experts will work with you one-on-one to help educate you about the differences between diamonds. We won't just cover "the 4 C's" - we'll talk to you about what your goals are. We will teach you about the different kinds of diamond certifications and why it's important to know what you're really buying.
We are Committed to Quality
At Washington Diamond, we take pride in the quality of our diamonds. Each of our loose diamonds has been hand-selected by our trained diamond experts. While we offer a broad selection of ratings, with prices to match, every diamond is natural, untreated, and graded by the same set of international standards.
Rest assured that when one of our diamonds catches your eye, you will have full confidence that its cut, color, clarity and carat are each confirmed with complete certainty. This commitment to quality enables us to provide superior diamonds at exceptional values.
The GIA Difference
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) sets the most accurate and verifiable standards for “the 4 C’s” of diamond rating – cut, color, clarity and carat. GIA-graded diamonds are known the world over for the accuracy and consistency of their measurement.
No two diamonds are alike, but every GIA-certified diamond is measured by the same rigorous standard. At Washington Diamond, all of our loose diamonds are GIA certified.
Even though all of these diamonds are of exceptional quality and beauty - we never sell diamonds online. We know that every diamond is unique and that you must see a diamond in person to make the right decision for you. No amount of video display can accurately convey the life and fire of a diamond.
