Free Maintenance
Washington Diamond offers free cleanings and inspections of your fine jewelry purchase for as long as you own it. We strongly suggest an inspection at least every six months.
We encourage you to seek an outside analysis, performed by an independent appraiser ... further validating quality. We want your experience at Washington Diamond to be glowing!
Lab Certificates and Grading Reports
Washington Diamond is proud to offer the finest quality diamonds available. A diamond grading report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) the American Gem Society (AGS) or in rare cases the European Gemological Laboratory (EGL) will accompany your loose diamond purchase. These laboratories are recognized around the world as the finest in gemological education and gem grading. However, diamond grading is subjective. Washington Diamond guarantees that the diamond sold matches the stone described by the grading report (i.e. that the diamond is the same one graded by the laboratory). We do not guarantee the accuracy of any diamond-grading laboratory. Washington Diamond, its appointees, and agents are not responsible for possible dissimilarities and/or differences that could appear from repeated examinations or as a result of other methods applied. Washington Diamond presents these Grading Reports to the client solely for his own use and shall not be held responsible for any claim whatsoever that may be made on the basis of these evaluations.
Returns/Refunds
Washington Diamond will happily exchange or refund any unworn and undamaged item in accordance with the restrictions outlined in this section. All returns must be returned to Washington Diamond within 10 days of receipt of the original purchase. If the purchase was made on-line or on the phone, the items must be shipped back and fully insured through the U.S. Post Office, registered/insured at the customer's expense. All merchandise will be inspected and must be free from damage, alterations, or wear. Customers will receive a refund for the full amount of the items excluding the original shipping expenses. Credit card purchases will be electronically credited from Washington Diamond to your account within 5 days of return receipt. Other payments or refunds by Washington Diamond will be issued by corporate check within 7 business days. Exchanges will be processed similar to returns. Any balance owed will be refunded within 5 business days. Items that are special order or that have been altered may not be returned or exchanged. Please ship and insure all authorized returns to:

Shipping Policy
Washington Diamond’s Shipping Policy
Washington Diamond will only ship to the fifty United States of America. We will send your fine jewelry to a FedEx office near your home or office, which is both secure and convenient. We will arrange this with you prior to shipping. We cannot ship any packages to your home or office, so please leave the shipping address field blank.
Washington Diamond does not ship internationally. For the required country field below, only select the “United States” option.
When picking up your packages you will be required to show a driver’s license or other government issued identification. This policy is intended to protect your purchase against theft and to help combat credit card fraud.
